Information For Buyers
The customer with an interest in an item offered by 20th Century Gallery should contact the gallery for determination of the cost of shipping prior to payment being made. The cost for shipping will depend on the destination of the package, type of mailing service (generally UPS or USPS) and the rapidity of delivery desired. Remittance of the total cost may be made by check or PayPal or credit card. Checks may require 7-10 days to clear.
For large and/or fragile items, the customer will be provided a list of recommended local shippers that are capable of professional packing and/or crating and shipping. I will assist in the arrangements, but the customer is responsible for the contract for packing and shipping services and payment to the contractor.
Items purchased from 20th Century Gallery are guaranteed to be as described. If customers are displeased with their purchase because of an inaccurate description, they should call or e-mail me within three (3) days of receipt with a description of the problem. Once I have agreed to accept the item’s return, the item must be returned within four (4) business days at the buyer’s expense. Once I receive item back in same condition as sent, I will refund your payment in a way to be agreed upon (PayPal, check, credit card, etc.).
Customers are free to pick-up their items directly at the shop in Baltimore. In this case the buyer is responsible for the moving and packing. Arrangement for pick up are flexible, so contact the gallery to arrange a time agreeable to us both. Generally, sales not picked up after one (1) month may be considered void and the purchase price refunded less a 10% restocking fee.
